Anxiety is a response to a threat that is unknown, internal, vague, or conflictual. Anxiety is a typical reaction to the stress & strains of everyday life. Most of us feel anxious or nervous when faced with a problem with which we are not comfortable.

When this worry begins to preoccupy our thoughts to the point that psychosocial functioning is impeded, an anxiety disorder may be diagnosed. To sum up: People with anxiety disorders, worry, and fear are constant and overwhelming and can be crippling in their lives.

There are two ways to deal with anxiety

  1. You can get rid of anxiety by medication from Psychiatrists: quick relief but a short term remedy.
  2. The second option is counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques like CBT, Relaxation technique, Mindfulness, etc. This will take a little longer and helps you without any side effects.
