Me too movement is picking up pace in India after US. It’s reliving to finally see that the victims are coming out and talking about it and this time they do not have to suffer for raising their voice (at least what the media says). This time this movement is actually bringing out the culprits from their holes and getting them fired from their jobs. This is a rare sight in a country like India.


WHAT IS #MeTooWithYou?


While women in some parts of the country are raising their voices, we are sure, many are still not. Even if they are, we feel, it’s not enough to ensure the mental health of our young women.
Raising their voices is not freeing them from the trauma of abuse they have to live with for the rest of their lives. 


The social media is full of #MeToo stories finally being heard. But we have decided to go one step ahead of just listening to their stories. We want to help these courageous women recover from their trauma and build back their lives stronger and better. We want to help them heal so their abuse doesn’t define them anymore.


They don’t deserve to remain survivors, they have to become winners. To help them on their journeys we are introducing a support group for the survivors of sexual abuse called #MeTooWithYou.


WHO IS IT FOR?

This support group is for the female survivors

Who are not able to recover from the trauma of the abuse


Who just want to be heard


Who have all parts of their life being affected by the abuse


Who are too scared to talk to anyone else but want to resolve it

The support group or group intervention #metoowithyou is divided into 8 sessions that will be held every Sunday starting from 4th of November. The support group will comprise of 10-15 women survivors. Confidentiality will be maintained.
